Let SECU help you obtain your first car as a Z-First Time Car Buyer! Visit your local branch or call for a Basic Transportation Loan*. Zard members under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian as a co-borrower.

Below are the specifications of a Basic Transportation Loan

• Same low rates (ranging from 6.25% to 7.00%) as our regular vehicle loans
• Calculate Payment
• Maximum loan amount of $7,500 for normal car purchases
• Maximum loan amount of $15,000 if purchasing through our Used Car Buying Program¹
• Maximum mileage of 75,000 miles
• Financing for up to 110% of the NADA (National Automobile Dealers Association) value²

You can apply for a basic transportation loan in Member Access or contact the Call Center from the dealership! Our application form can also be completed and provided to your local branch or to the Call Center. If you are under 18, have a parent or legal guardian complete the application form with you.

If you are thinking about purchasing a car, you will also need car insurance. The Credit Union offers Auto Insurance at an affordable rate.
